Description:
Cozy coffee house and bookstore. Run as part of youth-oriented non-profit called the South Whidbey Commons, it employees a large amount of young people (teenagers) to provide job-training skills, and has a lot of older volunteers too. Good locally roasted Mukilteo Coffee, tasty baked goods from a local bakery, they can make quesidillas to order, and there's always a soup of the day. I've had both of those as a lunch many times, and its quite filling and affordable too! Very nice selection of used books, with some pretty quality stuff. Nice outdoor seating area too, on one of the busiest streets of lovely, Langley, so good for people watching too.

Small, but serves great coffee, locally roasted by The Good Bean. They have free Wi-Fi and indoor seating available. It's a lovely place. They serve a modest selection of pastries-- muffins, locally-made artisan bagels, oatmeal, biscotti, etc.
