Thanks for visiting indiecoffeeshops.com! So far we have 2385 coffeeshops in 1080 cities . That's pretty awesome, right? But we still have a LONG ways to go. In order for an independent coffee shop search engine to be useful we need to have a huge database of shops. Although we’re excited about the site, we also have day jobs and can’t spend countless hours entering data. That’s where you all come in… Please take five minutes and enter in a few of your favorite local coffee shops in the “add a coffee shop” section.
We welcome comments on individual coffee shops, although please keep in mind that this site is meant to promote small business. We would prefer that any negative comments be taken directly to the store owner.
Since you were curious enough to check out this section you probably already know why we created the website. It’s pretty simple… we love coffee and the atmosphere of our neighborhood coffee shops. As the name suggests, this website’s purpose is to provide information on local, independent coffee shops so that people have an accessible alternative to the major chains, no matter where they are.
We love this website but we are always trying to improve it. Here are a few things we have in the works:

- A mobile version: Find indie coffeeshops or add them from your mobile device. Ideally, we'd like to interact with Google Maps for Mobile but don't know how to do that just yet.
- Individual state sites: ky.indiecoffeeshops.com for Kentucky, ny.indiecoffeeshops.com for New York.... you get it
- Canada, Australia, and England: It's going to be a little while on these, but we're thinking about how to expand as painlessly as possible.
